Mixed Space and Time

This will be a mixture of so many things.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

I know we are already days into December. I am starting this a bit late but in my defence, it was a busy beginning of the month. It had nothing to do with the holiday.

Well, let's get into this most joyful time.

First, I would like to say that I am that person that starts holiday music the day after Halloween. It is that time of year and no one is making thanksgiving playlist. Let's be honest. When you open your Spotify or Apple Music or Pandora (or whatever you listen to music on), you will start to see those Christmas playlist popping up. They giving you permission to start listening to some great holiday music, why would I deny them. I would never want Spotify to feel like I do not appreciate their suggestions, right?

Winter is my favorite season and Christmas is my favorite holiday. I love winter because I love the cold. The cold brings comfort. You get to wear your cute but comfy clothes, bundle up with your loved ones or yourself and just relax. I find this time of the year relaxing. I know, how could anyone find Christmas shopping relaxing. Well, I don't. This time of year is relaxing but shopping is crazy. Thank goodness for Amazon and Target! If you know me well, you know that both of these companies pretty much take my money; and before you can think it, yes they take it. If they didn't make things so easy and have such amazing stuff, then I would never allow then to take my money.

Getting off track, sorry! I just love how easy they make my life!

Christmas is more than just gifts. Christmas is a time to be joyful. I love this holiday because it is so rare that you will find anyone that isn't happy and I LOVE that. This is a time where the family will get together from all around the world and just be engulfed by the love around them. It is also the time where you can really see the innocence of kids and see how happy this really makes them feel. Kids do get very excited about gifts, they are kids and they should get excited about this. They get to see so many Christmas lights and trees and Santa! I know that babies can sometimes be afraid of Santa but they grow out of it and then start to really enjoy seeing/meeting him.

who Santa is.

It really just warms my heart to see the joy on my son's face. This year will be the first Christmas that he will somewhat understand. He is almost 2 (in March) and he has really been enjoying this year. His face just lights up when he sees the decorations on houses, our Christmas tree, and decorations around the city. He knows who Santa is. He doesn't understand who Santa is, but he knows who he is. Every time he sees Santa, he says "Ho, Ho, Ho" and I love it!!!

We finally started some Christmas festivities by going to Enchant Christmas. It's a place that has a ton of Christmas lights. They make this huge maze of different things inside. There is also Ice Skating and pictures with Santa. We did not do the pictures because it was an hour wait and the line was not moving. We did get a ton of great photos.

There will be more festivities to come. I just want to leave you with a few photos that we took.
